Northpark Dental

Your First Visit

What is it like when you first visit Northpark Dental? Our primary goal is to ensure that you feel relaxed and completely at ease whenever you visit our office. Our team takes the time to welcome you, and one thing you’ll notice right away is that our dentists spend extra time getting to know you on a personal level. We do this to help us understand where you are coming from and what your goals are for your oral health.

Caring Dentistry in Urbandale

You will meet with one of our friendly and gentle hygienists for a cleaning during your first visit. If you are struggling to manage gum disease, we may recommend a more in-depth cleaning and additional cleanings throughout the year so you can successfully control your condition.

We will take x-rays and photos of your teeth during your first visit that allow our dentists to discuss any treatment that is necessary for improving or maintaining your oral health. If you have concerns about your oral health or ideas for enhancing your smile, this is an excellent time to discuss it with Dr. Phan or Dr. Babor.

Even if it has been a long time since you’ve visited a dentist, it is never too late to get your oral health on track, and you will never receive anything less than compassion at our office.

Patients who feel fearful about visiting the dentist may benefit from the effects of nitrous oxide – a gas that can help you relax during dental appointments. We always encourage patients to make our team aware of any concerns so we can meet your needs.
